Net Worth

Emily Fernandez net worth is 500 thousand dollars.

The majority of Emily’s wealth comes from her participation in two reality shows: Little Women: Atlanta and Little Women: Dallas. These two shows pay their stars per episode.

While Emily’s specific salary per episode is not known,TV Guide lists Elena Grant, a contestant on Little Women: LA, as having a salary of $2,000 per episode.

Little Women: LA was the predecessor to the Dallas and Atlanta versions of the Little Women> franchise.

These rates may seem very low compared to celebrity reality stars such as Ryan Seacrest or the guest hosts for The Voice.

These celebrities rake in millions of dollars per season. But Business Insider claims that a “C List” reality star on a cable show can only expect to make between $0 and $12,000 per episode.

“B players” can sometimes make up to $35,000 per episode.

When Emily began on Little Women: Atlanta, she was definitely in the “C List” range.

Although she has gained notoriety and was a major part of the Dallas spin-off, the salary of Elena Grant is the best indicator of Emily’s most likely salary per episode.

Introduction

Emily Fernandez net worth is 500 thousand dollars. Though this amount is on the lower end of what someone might expect a celebrity to make, Emily is still in the beginning stages of her career.

Thanks to her bravery and honest social media presence, there is no doubt that Emily’s fame and wealth will continue to grow.

Early Life

Emily was born in Texas on June 30, 1992. When she was born, Emily was diagnosed with having Achondroplasia dwarfism, a condition that often causes many medical problems.

Emily was given up for adoption as a newborn. She was quickly adopted as a baby into a loving family that would include her sister Sara.

Emily’s sister and adoptive parents had dwarfism, too. Emily and her family would make their home in Texas for the rest of Emily’s childhood.

But once she became an adult, Emily moved to the city that would later bring her fame: Atlanta.

Personal Life

One of the most fascinating aspects of Little Women: Atlanta was the ongoing on-again and off-again relationship dynamic that Emily shared with her partner, Lontel.

Although Emily has a daughter, Eva, from a previous relationship, Emily wanted to have more children with Lontel.

The couple was successful in having a son, Lontel “JJ” Johnson, Jr. Unlike Eva, who is of average height, JJ inherited his mother’s dwarfism.

Unfortunately, the pregnancy for her second child was a very difficult one. Emily would go on to tell People that JJ was having seizures in the womb.

She would also describe a problem with the placenta. Just three months after JJ was born, he passed away.

From there, the relationship between Lontel and Emily faced a definite issue concerning having more children.

Lontel, who does not have dwarfism, was not willing to accept the possible heartbreak that came with having more children pass away or have extreme medical needs if they inherited their mother’s dwarfism.

But Emily longed for another child, and eventually, Lontel agreed. The couple welcomed another son, Zayne, two years after JJ’s death.

Despite having a healthy baby boy, Lontel and Emily broke up, and Emily has moved on. Her most well-known relationship has been with rapper Dreadz 448.

Before joining the cast of Little Women: Atlanta, Emily was part of a rap duo known as The Cheeks. Emily’s nickname was “Right Cheek,” while her partner, Bri Barlup, was known as Left Cheek.

The duo has gone on to have their own YouTube Channel: OFFICIALLCRC. The two have also released a total of four songs: “Run that Check,” “HD,” “Poppin’ Bottles,” and “Gettin Rich.”

When Emily joined the cast of Little Women: Atlanta on the Lifetime TV network, she was still primarily unknown. But her dramatic relationship with Lontel and the heartbreak they experienced soon changed that.

Highlights

Tips for success from Emily Fernandez

The circumstances of your birth do not determine your future. Emily was given away at birth, but that one act allowed her to find a new family full of people just like her. What could have been seen as a rejection at birth was something that Emily was able to use to feel fully accepted as someone with dwarfism.

Tragedies are painful, but do not have to stop you. The loss of her adoptive mother and her son could have both been events that Emily allowed to stop her. But instead, Emily forged on, achieving both personal and professional highlights after these painful events.
