Finn got his break after replying to an ad on Craigslist looking for actors. This resulted in him playing Zoran in the series “The 100” then, the 2017 horror film, “It”, where he starred as “Richie Tozier”.

However, Finn earned his fame after landing a lead role as Mike Wheeler, in the hit TV series, “Stranger Things”, a Netflix original thriller that he also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance.

Early Life

Born on December 23, 2002, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Finn Wolfhard considers himself a Canadian with a mixed nationality of German, Jewish, and French.

Ever since Finn watched his first movie– Spiderman, he had been interested in acting and when he turned 12 years old, he made his television debut after landing a minor role in the series the 100.

His father “Eric Wolfhard” is an aboriginal land claims researcher and writer. Finn has one sibling, an older brother named, “Nick Wolfhard” who is also an actor and starred in Stranger Things alongside Finn, and he also did a voice-over in the movie, Under wraps. Finn’s is very close to his mother “Mary Jolivet”.

The young actor previously attended the Vancouver, British, Columbia Catholic School, but is currently being homeschooled so that he could focus more on his career.

Although there were some rumors going around of Finn being in a relationship with his co-star Millie Bobby Brown, the young actress denies these claims saying her and Finn are just friends.
