They have been in each other’s lives for more than 19 years. Even though they have not yet gotten married, they have decided to have children. They are expecting twins via surrogacy since K. Michelle has lupus and can no longer conceive children.

Career

As a graduate of FAMU, K. Michelle had an excellent GPA received many offers from law schools. Instead of pursuing her career law, she decided to follow her passion.

Her music career started in 2009 with her getting a deal with Jive Records. At the time she released her first charting record “Fakin’ It”.

Missy Elliot was featuring on the track. Afterward, K. Michelle put out three additional R&B songs including Fallin, How Many Times, and I Just Can’t Do This. All three songs earned spots on the charts and then K. Michelle eventually left the label.

Eventually, K. Michelle signed a deal with Atlantic Records, and on August 13, 2013, she dropped her debut album “Rebellious Soul”.
