What Is Orlando Brown’s Net Worth?

Orlando Brown’s net worth is $20,000.

How Did Orlando Brown Make His Money?

He is an actor, singer and voice actor. Brown is an actor who made a promising start, appearing in a number of highly-rated sitcoms and movies. He is also a singer who performed on several soundtracks and released one album.

His biggest roles were as 3J in Family Values and as Eddie Thomas, in the series, That’s So Raven. These were both hit shows in the 1990s.

Unfortunately, after several years of success, his behavior started to spiral downward. A series of criminal arrests followed by a bizarre interview on a widely-syndicated TV show seems to confirm that Brown’s mental health and behavior need a serious intervention.

With his success as an actor, Brown was no doubt paid well for his work. His legal troubles have chipped away at his wealth. His friends are hoping that he can get the help he obviously needs.

His troubles didn’t stop there.

Brown seems to have disappeared from the scene after 2015. He resurfaced in February 2016, but it wasn’t for a new movie or TV role. Instead, he was arrested in Torrance, California. The charges filed included domestic battery, destruction of property, drug possession and obstruction of justice. He was put on probation at this time.

In January 2018, he was arrested in Barstow, California, after a volatile argument with his girlfriend. This time, he was charged with domestic battery, resisting arrest and drug possession. He was booked into jail and then released on his own recognizance to return for a trial.

In April 2018, bounty hunters found Brown in Las Vegas. They arrested him for bail skipping and failure to appear.

He was arrested a fourth time in June 2018, when he was caught by Las Vegas police as he was walking out of a motel with a large quantity of drugs. He was released on bail. He refused to appear for his trial, and the judge issued a bench warrant.

His fifth arrest came in September 2018, when he was caught breaking into a Las Vegas restaurant owned by his longtime friend Danny Boy. According to TMZ, who broke the story, Danny Boy was alerted to the break-in by a text from his restaurant’s security service.

Brown already had a warrant out for his failure to appear. Danny Boy decided to press charges in hopes that this would force Brown to get help. Brown was jailed and his bail was set at $13,000.

Dr. Phil Show

In December 2018, Brown appeared on an episode of the Dr. Phil Show. According to the blog Hollywoodlife, Brown appeared delusional. Among other things, he said that he was the son of Michael Jackson.

“I used to always wonder why I’m so astronomically blessed and gifted when it comes to being talented. I rap, sing and I do everything immaculately,” he said. “So yeah, it’s a blessing to know that. I can sit here today and say, that yeah, that Michael Jackson was my father.”

He also claimed that he was no longer on drugs, that his full name was Orlando Brown Prince Michael Jackson, Jr., and that he was going to marry actress Raven Symone, his former co-star on That’s So Raven.

During the show, Dr. Phil repeatedly tried to offer Brown the help of mental health therapists and addiction counselors, but Brown waved off these offers of help.

Brown’s friend and manager Solomon Barron told Dr. Phil that he was willing to do anything to help Brown.

Barron described Brown as an addicted drinker and drug user who frequently had delusions. Barron told Dr. Phil that he’d done everything he could to help his friend and added, “His whole life is in shambles now.”

Is He Likely to Make a Comeback?

The chances of Brown making a comeback are not good. According to his friend Barron, he has burned bridges with all of his former friends, coworkers and family members.

Child stars who flame out as adults are an unfortunate part of Hollywood life. Brown’s fall seems to be connected to drug use and untreated mental illness. Based on what we’ve seen, his chances for a comeback are not looking good.
