After completing the football season, he dropped out of school in order to pursue a music career with Takeoff and Offset in 2008.

Personal Life

Quavo is the son of his mother, Edna Marshall, and his late father who he has never named. His father passed away when the rapper was four years old. He has one sister.

Quavo is the uncle of fellow group member Takeoff and the cousin of Offset. He is the father of no children and has been dating rapper Saweetie since the summer of 2018.

Quavo, formed Migos with Takeoff and Offset in 2008. They started under the name Polo club before deciding to change the name to Migos, which is a colloquial term for an abandoned residence that drugs are sold out of, or a trap house.
