How does Tanner Fox make his money?

Tanner primarily makes his money from his Youtube videos and Youtube channel, MTFilms. Tanner also has a huge following on Instagram and makes money from both sponsorships and advertisements on that medium as well.

Tanner is sponsored by The Grind Shop, Lucky Scooters and Root Industries.

Understanding the value of his brand, Tanner created a clothing line as well. His merchandise is incredibly popular and usually sells out within hours of being dropped.

From a twelve-year-old boy sharing jokes and pranks to the self-proclaimed King of Youtube, Tanner Fox has singlehandedly grown his brand and made millions of dollars.

Tanner shot to stardom after releasing tutorials on how to ride and do tricks on scooters. He also generated quite a bit of buzz by posting videos of himself doing some pretty wild tricks and stunts on a scooter and a skateboard.

When Tanner started gaining a big following, he started vlogging and sharing nearly all aspects of his daily life with his audience. This transparency really spoke to the people watching him, especially teenagers.

Tanner has shared his ups and downs and feelings with his audience. This includes sharing a large portion of his relationship with former girlfriend and fellow Youtube star, Taylor Alesia. They faked out their audience by posting a prank break-up video in 2017.

However, things got real later on. They broke up in the summer of 2018 and they documented their feelings in a controversial Youtube video.

Tanner Fox was born in San Diego, California on December 22, 1999. He is 19 years old and stands about 5’6” with a thin build. Tanner had plenty of time to work on his scooter skills since he was homeschooled.

Tanner started skateboarding when he was about two years old and it’s been a passion of his ever since. He also loved uploading videos and watching them on Youtube.

Tanner originally attended a charter school, but that only lasted two days. Instead, his parents made the decision to homeschool him, giving him plenty of time to work on his passions. Tanner also spent some time at a Catholic school but was subsequently kicked out because of how much he got in trouble.

Why did he get in so much trouble, you ask? It was because he was always taking videos!

Tanner is truly a product of the millennial generation. He is one of few people who can say that he has lived his life from early childhood on in front of a camera, visible to millions of people.

Personal life

Tanner is very close to his family, especially his mother Rhonda and sister Lindsay. Tanner’s father is rarely seen on camera. While his sister is also somewhat of a Youtube sensation (and his mom!)

Tanner uses his fame to help take care of his family. He recently bought his dream home in California that he shares with his mother.

Tanner might be dating someone right now, but if so, he’s keeping quiet about it. In 2018, his relationship with Taylor Alesia ended, much to the chagrin of his fans who watched their relationship unfold.

In December of 2018, Tanner traveled to the Porsche production plant in Germany to pick up his brand-new car. That is a white Porsche 991.2 GT3RS that is fully-loaded.

Prior to purchasing the Porsche, Tanner had a very recognizable green GTR that he called “Guaczilla.” In fact, he’s had two GTR’s. He famously was tagged in many photos on social media featuring a Hot-Wheels car that was almost an exact replica of the vehicle.

Tanner Fox’s fame is almost completely due to the videos he’s uploaded to Youtube. Initially, Tanner was known for his videos featuring his zany antics with his family and friends.

However, he quickly started to get noticed because of his ability to do tricks on scooters and started uploading videos specifically featuring his skills. These aren’t just your run of the mill scooter tricks though. Many of them are incredibly difficult and even very dangerous.

His personal brand started to take off when he began posting videos of himself at his local skate park, even offering up tutorials for those who were watching. He did that for about a year, clearly impressing people by his commanding presence at just 12 years old.

People really started to engage with Tanner when he changed the style of his videos in 2015, turning them into more of a “vlog” style video instead of what he’d previously been posting. At this point the money from Youtube ads and Instagram sponsors started pouring in.

Besides his scooter videos, Tanner also posts many videos of himself skateboarding with friends. He also runs the extremely popular Youtube channel, MT Films.

Tanner also has his own clothing line called “TFox.”

Taner Fox net worth reached $3,000,000 by 2019.

Interesting Facts

Some people argue he shares too much. For example, some people thought his 2018 video announcing the break-up of his relationship with Taylor Alesia to be contrived and attention-seeking.

However, in just six years, Tanner’s Youtube channel acquired more than 7 million subscribers, making it one of the fastest growing Youtube channels of all time.

One of Tanner’s biggest inspirations is Dylan Morrison who also is famous for his scooter tricks and funny videos on social media.
