– How Much Does Lil Romeo Make a Year?

Lil Romeo made a ton of money in between 2001-2007. His career slowed down a bit when he went to college in 2007 and now he’s trying to rebound from that loss of income. In the past, he was making well over $2 million a year, but now, it is closer to $500,000 per year.

– How does Lil Romeo make his money?

Lil Romeo first started making his money as a child star, so it’s a little complicated because his parents technically were in control of his money.

However, since Master P. was already famous, there really wasn’t any concern about him using Romeo’s money as his own.

Romeo made millions of dollars from the release of his numerous albums and hit singles. He also went on tour and did private events that he was paid for.

Additionally, he made millions acting in both television shows, like his self-titled Nickelodeon show “Romeo!” and the movie “Honey.”

Since leaving school, he’s released some more songs that made him good money but also did some modeling and even was paid to do some television commercials for ICDC College. He’s also made money from the artists he’s signed to his record label “No Limit Forever.”

Introduction

You might remember him as “Lil Romeo,” but the child star-turned-rapper now prefers to go by Romeo Miller. Arguably, the bigger part of his success came when he was younger.

Besides a number of musical hits, Lil Romeo made a big splash in Hollywood thanks to starring roles in a number of television shows and movies. Later on, he started a modeling career and did a brief stint as a basketball player at the University of Southern California.

Early Life

Lil Romeo now goes by the name of Romeo, but before he was famous, he was known as Percy Romeo Miller. He was born on August 19th, 1989 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He comes from a talented family with many members who are well-known in the community. His father is the popular rapper, Master P and his mom is rapper Sonya C.

His uncles include rappers C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker. His sister is actress Cymphonique Miller.

Coming from such a musical family, it is no surprise that Romeo started rapping at a young age. When he was just five years old, he wrote a rap to his father. After Master P brought it to executives at Soulja Music Entertainment. They signed the 5-year-old on the spot.

Personal life

Romeo has been known to date his fair share of women. He’s often been seen out with a different woman each night of the week. Currently, he’s not married, but he’s been tied to a number of women.

Most recently, Romeo was tied to reality TV star Angela Simmons. After their relationship ended, Simmons had a baby with someone else. However, it is rumored that she split up with her child’s father to get back with Romeo. They still have not confirmed whether they are back together.

He had a controversial relationship with Toneata Morgan, who many people believed was only with Romeo because he is famous and has money. He denied those rumors, but their relationship didn’t last very long.

Romeo has no children yet.

Career

In 2001, at just 12 years old, Lil Romeo released his first album which was self-titled. The hit single “My Baby” was released on this album.

In 2002, he released his second album called “Game Time,” which made it all the way to the number thirty-three spot on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. In 2004, Lil Romeo released the album “Romeoland” which didn’t do quite as well as his other items.

Finally, in 2006, Romeo dropped the “Lil” from his name, choosing to go by “Romeo” instead.

During this time, he also got into the acting world. In 2002, Lil Romeo starred in a Nickelodeon show named after him, called “Romeo!” It was extremely successful and lasted for three seasons, which is a lot for a Nickelodeon show.

In 2003, he starred in the movie “Honey” with Jessica Alba. He went on to star in a number of smaller projects over the next three years, including co-starring with his father in the film “Uncle P.” in 2007.

In 2007, his acting and singing career slowed down as he accepted an offer to play basketball for the USC Trojans. He played for them and attended school for three years until he was let go in 2010.

Favorite Quotes from Lil Romeo

“When I was a kid, I used to lick markers on my t-shirt ‘I’m going to college’ and that imprint stuck in my head and made a difference to me in my life, turning it into a reality. I want to implant the same positive message to young boys as they dress themselves each day with a feeling of success. They can look in the mirror at themselves with a positive goal in mind for their bright future knowing that going to college can make a big difference in their lives.”

“It is cool to be smart.”

“People don’t understand being a child star is very hard because first off, to be a child star, you have to be very unique. These kids are talented to be able to do it at such a young age. At the same time, you go through the pressures of bullying and a lot of people not understanding.”

Tips for success from Lil Romeo

  1. Nobody has limits. It’s all in your head. If you have a big dream, go after it and go get it. The only person stopping you is you.
  2. Education will keep you sane. So many people want to skip steps when it comes to success. Even if you’re pursuing a career where education isn’t necessary, it is still a really wise idea to go to school. It helps mature you.
  3. Don’t change for anybody. If you have things you’d like to fix about yourself, make sure that you’re doing it for you.
  4. Keep your friends close but your family closer. Your family will never leave you, they will always support you and will always have your back. Even after a fight, it is so much easier to go back and apologize to family versus friends.
