How does Tee Grizzley make his money?
Tee Grizzley has made most of his money from his musical career. He’s released two mixtapes and a studio album, both of which have achieved great success. He is paid also through his deal with his record label and for the concerts and shows he does.
Tee is also extremely popular on social media, with millions of views of his videos on both Youtube and Instagram. It’s reported that his Youtube channel generates between $3,000 to even $25,000 each month! So, if he continues his path of success, he could make up to $500,000 each year from Youtube alone!

He makes money from ads and paid posts on both sites. Online streaming of his music also makes him a pretty penny.
Tee also sells casual clothing like t-shirts, hoodies and sweat pants online. This is another source of his income.

Regardless, he’s definitely got the cash flowing in. In November 2018, he was spotted at a jewelry store in Atlanta. Tee bought a large diamond encrusted chain and had a huge diamond pendant made for himself that resembles a beast. Even the jewelry was stunned by how large and expensive the pendant was!
House and Cars
Tee bought a large home in Michigan in 2017 but it is unclear how much it is worth. Some reports say $350,000 but others say it could be worth as much as $800,000. Tee has said that he pays $7,500 each month in mortgage. The home is in a quiet area with a beautiful wooded backyard. There’s a second-floor balcony that gives great views of it!
Tee also owns two vehicles, both a Ford and a Mercedes. He’s been photographed with multiple Bentleys, and for a while, it was unclear if that is his vehicle or one that was used for a video or photo shoot. However, in 2019, he shared a video from his home in Michigan where he let everyone know that he has a multicolor Bentley.

Recently he shared a video getting off a private jet with loads of cash in his bag. He didn’t say, but there are multiple Bentleys in the video, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they were both his.
Introduction
You may know 24-year-old Tee Grizzley from the chart-topping hits he’s released in the past few years, but you probably don’t know the path that he’s gone down to get where he is today.
From being raised without parents to landing a spot at Michigan State University, Tee’s life has many ups and downs.
Just a little more than two years ago, the six-foot-tall Tee was still in prison for multiple robberies. Those happened when he was supposed to be getting his college education.
On the bright side, he took advantage of that time though, writing his first album, which became a hit! In fact, “First Day Out” became a cult hit, released shortly after he got out of prison.
Early Life
Terry Sanchez Wallace was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 23, 1994. He was raised by his grandma in the Joy Road neighborhood of Detroit because both of his parents were not around. They were often in and out of jail.
Tee’s father was murdered in 2012 and his mother was arrested in 2011 for drug trafficking. She was sentenced to 15 years behind bars. Sadly, Tee’s life didn’t involve his parents at all. In fact, he once said that he could count the number of days he spent with his parents on two hands.

Hoping to break the cycle of his parents’ broken lives, Tee decided to go to college. He started attending Michigan State University in 2014. Unfortunately, his past followed him. With no income and no way to afford anything, Tee started stealing from other kids in his dorm.
He stole more than $20,000 worth of electronics from other students. While charges were pending, he and a friend fled to Kentucky, where they robbed a jewelry store. He was sentenced to nine months in prison, which he served at Jackson State Prison in Michigan.
Personal Life
Tee is very quiet about his personal life. There’s very little information about who he is dating or even who he is rumored to have been with. Considering the drama that he’s had in other aspects of his life, Tee Grizzley surprisingly has no drama tied to his romantic life. He does not have any children and has never been married. If he has a girlfriend, then he is keeping those details a secret!
Being that he’s risen to fame so quickly and is currently so popular, it seems that he wants to put all of his focus on his successful career and making more money!
Career
When Tee was just in middle school, he started a rap group with a number of his friends called “All-Stars Ball Hard.” They uploaded music to the internet, but never gained much traction.
Tee wrote his first mixtape when he was in prison. In November 2016, he got out of prison and released his first single, “First Day Out.” Within just a few weeks of putting the video out, it had 2 million views. It was at that point in time that he signed with a record label.
In February 2017, he released his next single, “Second Day Out.” The whole mixtape was released in April of that same year.
